551-N Soak Tank Cleaner
551-N is a highly alkaline, carefully balanced detergent system with potent wetting agents. It was specifically formulated to remove highly stable oils, coolants, and drawing compounds from ferrous metals. This special balance of ingredients provides longer solution life, easier oil separation, and more efficient cleaning in agitated soak tanks. It is inhibited to help prevent oxidation.

Usage and Dilution Instructions
Use 4 to 12 ounces per gallon of water. Solution temperature should be maintained at 140° to 160° F. for optimum cleaning efficiency. Periodic adds of 1 to 2 ounces per gallon may be desirable to extend cleaning solution life.
Handling & Storage
This is a highly alkaline product. It contains Sodium Hydroxide. Use good industrial hygiene practices such as wearing chemical safety goggles, rubber gloves, impermeable apron and other appropriate protective clothing to prevent personal contact. Wash thoroughly after handling. In case of skin or eye contact, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and call a physician. Store in cool dry place in a tightly closed container to reduce caking and rotate stock. When stored as above, shelf life is a minimum of 2 years.
