40 Cleaning & Deburring Compound
40 is an economical cleaning and de-burring compound for ferrous and most nonferrous metals. It is recommended for removing petroleum oils, natural animal fats and vegetable fats found in many buffing and lubricating compounds. This product has excellent detergent and dispersion properties.

Usage and Dilution Instructions
For Rotary barrel and vibratory finishing operations use 1/2 to 1 ounce per gallon of water. Recommended flow rates for vibratory finishing operations are 2 gallons of water per cubic foot of mass per hour. This product contains silicates to help prevent corrosion of non-ferrous metals.
Handling & Storage
This is an alkaline product and does not pose any fire hazards. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. In case of skin contact, flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes, consult a physician if irritation develops. In case of eye contact, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician. Use good industrial hygiene practices including wearing chemical safety goggles, rubber apron, rubber gloves, andother appropriate protective clothing. Keep product containers tightly closed when not in use. Store in the original container between 45° and 85°F. When stored as above, shelf life is a minimum of 2 years.
