L-55R Cleaning & Deburring Compound
L-55R is an economical cleaning and deburring compound for ferrous and nonferrous metals with added rust inhibitor. It is effective in removing oils and particulate, keeping media clean and thus optimizing its efficiency in the finishing process. This product has excellent detergent, dispersion and inhibiting properties.

Usage and Dilution Instructions
For Rotary barrel and vibratory finishing operations use 2 to 6 ounce per gallon of water. Recommended flow rates for vibratory finishing operations are 2 gallons of water per cubic foot of mass per hour. This product contains sodium nitrite to help prevent corrosion of ferrous metals between interim process operations.
Handling & Storage
This is an alkaline product and does not pose any fire hazards. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. In case of skin contact, flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes, consult a physician if irritation develops. In case of eye contact, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician. Use good industrial hygiene practices including wearing chemical safety goggles, rubber apron, rubber gloves, andother appropriate protective clothing. Keep product containers tightly closed when not in use. Store in the original container between 45° and 85°F. When stored as above, shelf life is a minimum of 2 years.
